Following this, the Governor received a briefing from Mitchell Shire Council before receiving a tour of the flood damage at Kings Park.
After this, the Governor attended a tour of the Vietnam Veterans Commemorative walk before visiting the Seymour SES unit.
In the afternoon, the Governor received a tour of the Seymour Railway Heritage Centre.
Later, the Governor attended a dinner with Mitchell Shire Council and Local Business Owners.
The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, received the call of the Honourable Gayle Tierney MP, Minister for Skills and TAFE.
Then, the Governor received a phone call from Professor Richard Broome AM, Emeritus Professor in History, La Trobe University.
Later, the Governor attended the Victorian Parliament Iftar Dinner.
The Governor, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, was represented by Major General David McLachlan AO AO (Mil) (Ret’d) at the funeral of Lesley McGarvie.
