While on an Official Visit to Italy, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, met with Lou Farinotti, the President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Melbourne.
While on an Official Visit to Italy, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, visited the Milan Innovation District and met with Alan Bates, Executive General Manager, Development Operations, Italy; Stefano Minini, Project Director, MIND; and Nadia Boschi, Head of Sustainability Italy & Continental Europe.
The Governor then toured the Leonardo Helicopter Division Headquarters and met with Robert Macchiavello, Head of Region Oceania, Helicopter Division.
Later, the Governor toured the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) European Training Centre (ETC) and met with Warwick Forbes OAM, Head of AIS Europe and Director of ETC.
While on an Official Visit to Italy, the Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, met with Naïla Mazzucco, Australia’s Consul General in Milan and Trade Commissioner for Italy.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, met with Dame Louise Martin DBE, President of the Commonwealth Games Federation.
Then, the Governor attended the National Police Remembrance Day march and service.
The Governor later departed Melbourne for an Official Visit to Italy, Scotland and Japan.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, gave Royal Assent and then presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.
The Governor later received the call of Professor Sir John Savill, Executive Director, Melbourne Academic Centre for Health.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM KC attended the AFL Grand Final Commission Luncheon and Match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM KC attended the National Memorial Service for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Parliament House Canberra.
The Governor, the Hon Linda Dessau AC, and Mr Anthony Howard AM KC welcomed members of the public into Government House to sign condolence books and view a memorial exhibition for Her Majesty The Late Queen Elizabeth II.
The Governor and Mr Howard departed Melbourne for Canberra, where they attended a dinner hosted by His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley at Government House Canberra for State Governors and the Administrator of the Northern Territory.

The Administrator and Mr Howard visited Leonardo Australia’s Fishermans Bend factory.
In the evening, the Administrator, accompanied by Mr Howard, attended and gave an address at the Governor of Victoria Export Awards.

The Administrator then received the Honourable Maree Edwards MP, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, and the Honourable Nazih Elasmar OAM MP, President of the Legislative Council, for the presentation of Condolences from the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council.
