On Friday, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Anthony Howard QC, visited the Westbourne Grammar School, Williamstown and launched the School's 150th anniversary history book. Later, the Governor and Mr Howard hosted a Reception to mark Canada's Sesquicentenary and then hosted a dinner in honour of HE Vice Admiral Paul Maddison (Ret'd), High Commissioner of Canada, and Mrs Fay Maddison.
The Governor hosted lunch for Lady Southey AC, former Lieutenant Governor of Victoria. In the evening, the Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC attended the Opening Night of Bell Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice.

The Governor received the call of Mr Stefan Romaniw OAM, Chairman, Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations.
The Governor and Mr Anthony Howard QC, as Patron, hosted the Red Cross Mobile Donor Centre at Government House.
Then, they hosted a reception for the Global Pass, celebrating the 450th anniversary of Rugby School.
The Lieutenant Governor, the Honourable Marilyn Warren, AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
The Governor received the call of Ms Kristin Stegley OAM Chairman, National Trust of Victoria, and later received the call of Professor Abdullah Saeed AM Director, National Centre of Excellence of Islamic Studies, University of Melbourne.

The Governor met with the Hon. Martin Pakula MP, Attorney General. Mr Anthony Howard QC led a tour of the State Apartments for legal studies students from Essendon Keilor College.
