Notes on the program of the Governor of Victoria.
The Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council. The Governor received calls from Ms Alexandra Drysdale, great-great-granddaughter of Sir George Bowen, 5th Governor of Victoria; from Ms Lee Liberman and Mr Steven Skala from the General Sir John Monash Foundation; and also from The Most Revered Dr Philip Freier, Anglican Archbishop of Melbourne.
The Governor hosted the 2015 Victorian Landcare Awards and later received the Hazelwood Mine Fire Inquiry Chair and Board Members who delivered Volume 1 of the Inquiry's 2015/16 report.
The Governor and Judge Howard attended a service at the Melbourne Hebrew Congregation.

The Governor received Mr Louis Le Vaillant, Director and Curator of the WR Johnston Trust Collection and trustees. Later the Governor, accompanied by Judge Howard, attended the official opening of An Illumination: the Rothschild Prayer Book at The University of Melbourne; they then attended the Melbourne Hospital Neuroscience Foundation 22nd Annual Gala Dinner.
The Governor assisted on a SecondBite Food van run at various locations across Melbourne. Later, the Governor launched the 2015 Melbourne Legacy Week at The Hotel Windsor.
The Governor received a call from His Excellency Mr Molosiwa Selepeng, High Commissioner for the Republic of Botswana.

The Governor received a call from Mr Senta Morioka Vice-Governor of Aichi Prefecture, Mr Takashige Sugiura, Vice Chairperson of the Aichi Prefectural Assembly and members of their delegations. The Governor and Judge Howard later hosted a reception to mark the 35th Anniversary of Victoria's Sister State relationship with Aichi Prefecture followed by a dinner in honour of Mr Morioka.
The Governor welcomed HE Professor the Hon. Kate Warner AM, the Governor of Tasmania and Mr Richard Warner.
