Notes on the program of the Governor of Victoria.
The Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
On Tuesday, the Governor received Ms Erica Frydenberg, President, Oz Child, then Mr James Miller, Chair, Infrastructure Victoria and later Major General David McLachlan AO (Ret’d), State President, RSL (Victorian Branch).
On Monday, the Governor received Sir Jonathan Mills AO, Creative Adviser, ANZAC Centenary Arts and Culture Fund.
The Governor, accompanied by Judge Howard, spoke at the opening ceremony of the World Chinese Economic Summit in London. The Governor and Judge Howard departed London for Paris, where they were hosted for dinner by Mr Stephen Brady AO CVO, Australian Ambassador to France and Mr Peter Stephens. Mr Geoffrey Conaghan, Agent-General for Victoria to the United Kingdom, laid a wreath at the Australian War Memorial, Hyde Park Corner, on behalf of the Governor of Victoria.
The Lieutenant-Governor the Hon. Marilyn Warren AC hosted a reception at Government House on the occasion of World Diabetes Day 2015 and presented the 2016 Diabetes Australia Research Program grants to Victorian recipients.
The Governor, The Honourable Linda Dessau AM, accompanied by Judge Anthony Howard, was received in audience by Her Majesty The Queen at Buckingham Palace. Later, the Governor and Judge Howard attended a welcome reception and dinner for the World Chinese Economic Summit in London.

The Lieutenant-Governor, The Honourable Marilyn Warren AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council; and later attended a reception to mark the 97th Anniversary of Remembrance Day at ANZAC House.
The Governor met with Dame Julia Cleverdon DCVO, CBE, Special Adviser to The Prince's Charities. The Governor and Judge Howard met with representatives from the Greater London Authority. They then toured Somerset House and later visited Skinner's Academy where they participated in a mentoring session hosted by the Mosaic Foundation.
The Governor and Judge Howard met with Mr Geoffrey Conaghan, Agent-General for Victoria to the United Kingdom. The Governor, accompanied by Judge Howard, later met with the Hon. Alexander Downer AC, Australian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom at Australia House.
The Governor and Judge Anthony Howard received Ms Winnie Tam SC, Chairman of the Hong Kong Bar Association and Ms Fiona McLeod SC, President of the Australian Bar Association. Later, the Governor and Judge Howard departed on an official overseas visit to the United Kingdom.
